ORIIO GUIDE · IPHONE & IPAD
Turn a screenshot into an Apple Calendar event
An invitation often arrives as an image, while the plan belongs in your calendar. Oriio helps you turn the information in that image into an event in a calendar you already use.
Share the source with Oriio
Add the screenshot or photo to an Oriio conversation. Use a clear image that includes the event name, date, time, and location when available. You can also provide a supported file.
Say what you want to create
Ask for an event and specify the destination calendar. If the image leaves something out, add it in your message: the year, time zone, duration, or the reminder you want. Avoid relying on the AI to guess missing details.
Check the completed result
Inspect the title, date, start and end times, location, calendar, and alert. Supported changes are applied on your device through Apple permissions and saved to the selected calendar account.
Return to the source when you need it
Open the AI-created item in Oriio to revisit its linked conversation and available source material. This helps when you need to check the invitation again or understand why you made the plan.
Choose an event or a reminder based on the commitment
A workshop with a fixed start and end time belongs in your calendar. A note to register for it is a reminder. You can explain both in your request and check each resulting item in its original Apple destination.
What to check before relying on the result
Image interpretation can miss or misread details. Check the result before relying on it. Creating calendar events requires the appropriate Apple permissions. AI features require connectivity and available usage; supported files, features, and availability can vary. Not every action offers a preview, restore, or undo.
Common questions
Do I need to import my calendar into Oriio?
No. Oriio uses calendars available through Apple system access and saves supported changes back to the calendar you choose. You do not need an iCloud app-specific password.
Is the image processed entirely on my device?
No. When you use AI, relevant content, including the image and request, may be sent to Oriio and AI providers for processing. The supported calendar write is applied on your device.
What if the invitation does not include a year or time zone?
Include that information in your request and check the saved event. A screenshot is source material, not a guarantee that every scheduling detail is present or unambiguous.
