Manage Apple Reminders with an AI assistant

You do not need a second task database to use AI with your reminders. Oriio works with your existing Apple reminder lists, so the same tasks remain available in Reminders and Oriio.

  1. Allow access to your reminders

Grant the necessary Apple Reminders permission in Oriio. Your reminders stay in their existing accounts and lists; you do not enter an Apple Account password or an iCloud app-specific password.

  2. Find the right task

Ask for tasks from a named list or describe the reminder you want. On supported screens, the selected item can provide context, so you can refer to ‘this’ without restating every field.

  3. Ask for a specific change

Create a reminder, change its due date, move it to a supported list, or mark it complete. Name the intended task and the details to change, especially when multiple tasks have similar titles.

  4. Check the task in its list

Review the completed action in Oriio and check the task title, due date, completion state, and destination list. Supported writes are applied on your device and remain part of the Apple reminder system.

Use Focus to decide what needs attention

Focus brings overdue reminders and upcoming events into one view. Use it to identify what to handle next, then make a specific request. You can also start a Focus Session from a task when it is time to work on it.

What to check before relying on the result

Actions depend on the task, list, permissions, and supported fields. AI processing needs connectivity and available usage. A selected item provides context only on supported surfaces. Result visibility does not mean every change has a separate approval screen or can be undone.

Common questions

Does Oriio replace the Apple Reminders app?

No. It works with the reminder lists available through Apple system permissions. Supported updates are saved back to those lists.

Can I use natural language to complete or reschedule tasks?

Yes. Oriio supports finding, creating, editing, completing, deleting, and rescheduling supported reminders. State the task and intended change clearly, then inspect the result.

Can the assistant use the task I am looking at?

On supported screens, the current page or selected item can provide context. You can also name the task and list explicitly when you want to avoid ambiguity.

Keep the Apple calendars and lists you already use.
